Simcoe Shores services students of the Simcoe County District School Board who are disengaged from the regular secondary school program and would benefit from a smaller setting. Our school offers programming for students in grades 11 & 12 who are working towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma at the workplace, college or university level.
Our unique programming allows students to focus on fewer courses at a time and may include the following modes of learning
- Face to Face classes
- eLearning classes (teacher led)
- eLearning through the Ontario eLearning Consortium
- Cooperative Education
Additionally, some students may be able to take advantage of additional opportunities offered, including
- Dual Credit College Credit -Work
- Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR)
In order to be considered for attendance at Simcoe Shores students must be referred by their current home school administration.
